Unbelievable Adventures of Italians in Russia

A dying Italian woman sets off a treasure hunt in Soviet Russia when she reveals to her granddaughter that a vast fortune is hidden beneath a lion statue in Leningrad. A group of bumbling Italian adventurers, including a mafioso and two nurses, embark on a series of chaotic misadventures as they try to find the treasure. After outsmarting their competitors, they uncover the loot but are forced to return it to the state due to Soviet law, only to be rewarded with a hefty share of the value. In the end, one of the adventurers, an undercover Soviet agent, finds love and decides to stay in Russia.
