In a surreal and action-packed journey, director Carlos Sorín brings to life the legend of the King of Patagonia and Araucania in "A King and His Movie". Against all odds, he tackles the production of his film with a second-rate actor company, facing financial troubles, technical problems, misfortune, and desertions along the way. Undeterred, Sorín perseveres, using mannequins for extras and portraying the king himself to create haunting and surreal scenes in a final act of cinematic defiance.
