The Last Reunion

Several members of an American platoon brutally kill a Japanese general and rape his wife during World War II, leaving behind a young son who vows revenge thirty-three years later. The adult son tracks down his former comrades, many of whom have returned to Manila for a reunion, and systematically eliminates them in a bloody and ruthless campaign of vengeance. As the body count rises, a police inspector begins to suspect that a Japanese-born man is behind the murders, but he must navigate a complex web of clues and lip-readers' testimony to uncover the truth. The film builds towards a tense showdown between the vengeful son and his former comrades, setting in motion a deadly game of cat and mouse in the streets of Manila.
