When a lawyer is killed on the county line, Maksville County Sheriff Alden Rockwell (Tom Wopat) must work with newly elected Sheriff Jo Porter of York County (Kelsey Crane), whose "big city" methods clash with his "old school" ways. As the murderer strikes again, they must put aside their differences to stop the killer and bring justice to the community. Patricia Richardson plays Maddie in this action-packed crime mystery.
