Almost Summer

In the last weeks of a Southern California high school year, Bobby DeVito recruits shy newcomer Darryl Fitzgerald to run against his popular ex-girlfriend Christine Alexander for student body president, turning a simple election into a nasty campaign of revenge and dirty tricks. The plot revolves around a student council election that stirs up assorted petty jealousies among various characters. Bruno Kirby as Bobby DeVito and John Friedrich as Darryl Fitzgerald are at the center of this high school drama.
