A Rumor of Angels

A 12-year-old boy named James (Trevor Morgan) struggles to cope with his mother's death in a car accident two years prior, and finds solace in an unlikely friendship with Maddy Bennett (Vanessa Redgrave), who shares her own experiences of loss as the mother of a son who died in the Vietnam War. As their bond grows, Maddy forces James to confront his feelings and face his fears, ultimately helping him reconcile with his father (Ray Liotta) and stepmother (Catherine McCormack).
