Inside Out

In the mind of an 11-year-old girl named Riley Andersen, five personified emotions - Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger - work together to help her navigate a major life change: moving from Minnesota to San Francisco with her family. As Joy tries to limit Sadness's influence, the emotions get lost, leading to a series of misadventures in the vast long-term memory area, where they encounter forgotten things and face their own fears and insecurities. Along the way, they discover that Sadness is essential for Riley's emotional well-being and that true happiness comes from embracing both joy and sadness. Ultimately, Joy and Sadness return to Headquarters, where they form a new core memory that represents Riley's acceptance of her life in San Francisco.
