The Wild Oat

In the village of Valorgue in Provence, a romantic affair between the baker's son and the grocer's daughter precedes the birth of their child, which leads to a bitter feud between the two families. The conflict escalates when the baker refuses to acknowledge his role in the pregnancy, resulting in the whole village being divided into two camps at war with each other. Fernandel stars as Félicien Hébrard, the bumbling but lovable baker at the center of this hilarious and action-packed comedy.
