The Crazy Stranger

In "The Crazy Stranger", Stéphane (Romain Duris), a young French man, travels to Romania in search of the singer Nora Luca, whom his father had heard on cassette. He meets Izidor (Izidor Serban), an old Romani man who tries to teach him the language and culture of the Roma people. Alongside Sabina (Rona Hartner), a Romani dancer with whom he forms a deep bond, Stéphane experiences the vibrant music and traditions of the Romani community, but also confronts tragedy when his friend Adriani's return sparks violence that destroys their village.
