The Vatican Tapes

In the Vatican, Vicar Imani shows Cardinal Mattias Bruun the case of Angela Holmes, a young American woman suspected of harboring an evil spirit. Two months earlier in the US, Angela is given a surprise birthday party by her father and boyfriend, but she soon becomes possessed by demonic forces. As Angela's possession worsens, Cardinal Bruun concludes that she is the Antichrist due to the presence of ravens around her and instructs Imani to stay back while he heads to the US to cure her. Eventually, Angela rises up as the resurrected Antichrist, mirroring the resurrection of Jesus, and kills those who tried to exorcise her, including Cardinal Bruun and her father, before Lozano is spared.
