Mid-Century

In 1963, Joanne and Anthony Waxen live in a home built by Frederick Banner, with whom the two have had concerning interactions. Meanwhile, in 2022, Tom Levin, an architect, and his doctor wife Marie Verdin rent a mid-century modern vacation rental that was built by the same Frederick Banner. Strange events occur, including a bird crashing into the window, doors opening by themselves, and a shadowy figure watching the couple while they have sex. As night falls, a delivery driver is stabbed in the chest, and Tom investigates the house and Frederick's past, uncovering a web of buried secrets and designs on his wife.
