Daffy Duck's Quackbusters

Daffy Duck is the beneficiary of a deceased millionaire's fortune after making the millionaire laugh, J.P. Cubish, to death as chronicled in Daffy Dilly (1948). The fortune is locked in a safe with conditions that require Daffy to use it for public service and maintain honesty in his business affairs; otherwise, Cubish's ghost will repossess the fortune. As "Paranormalist at Large," Daffy opens an exorcism agency, employing Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Sylvester Cat, and others, but secretly schemes to rid himself of Cubish's nagging spirit. Daffy's attempts at eliminating ghosts, including those like Cubish and Thelma the golden blonde-haired lady duck who he becomes attached to, lead to comedic misadventures, while Cubish's ghost constantly threatens Daffy with losing his fortune unless he complies with the will's terms.
