Pompo: The Cinéphile

In the animated comedy-drama "Pompo: The Cinéphile", Gene Fini (Hiroya Shimizu), a nerdy wannabe director, is assigned to edit a film script written by Joelle Davidovich Pomponett (Konomi Kohara), also known as Pompo. While editing, Gene discovers a completed script for a film called "Meister" and, with the help of Natalie Woodward (Rinka Otani), an aspiring actress, they work together to bring Domergue's story to life. Along the way, Gene learns about the importance of passion and perseverance in filmmaking, ultimately creating a 90-minute masterpiece that wins several awards at the Nyacademy Awards.
