In 1980s Los Angeles, Alana, an art student and young Black woman, embarks on a journey of self-discovery, exploring her own identity and challenging the societal beauty standards that have defined her life. As she navigates the complexities of relationships and body image, Vincent, her long-time friend, finds himself caught between their platonic bond and his growing desires for romance.
