In "Leaving Normal," two women embark on a life-changing cross-country journey to Alaska, leaving their troubled pasts behind. Darly, a brassy waitress with a secret history as a former stripper, meets Marianne, a quiet survivor of an abusive relationship, and together they face a series of eccentric characters and challenges that test their resilience. As they drive north, they find solace in each other's company and begin to reevaluate their lives in the unforgiving yet breathtaking landscape of Alaska.
