The Righteous

A burdened man, Aaron Smith (Mark O'Brien), visits his friend Frederick Mason (Henry Czerny) and his wife Ethel Mason (Mimi Kuzyk), who are grieving the death of their adopted daughter. Aaron claims to be Frederic's biological son and reveals he has been possessed by a vengeful force since childhood, seeking penance for Frederic's past sin of raping a woman who died in childbirth. The couple becomes embroiled in Aaron's twisted game, leading to tragic consequences.
