Irish Jam

In this offbeat comedy-drama, a wisecracking African-American hustler named Jimmy "Jimmy Da Jam" McDevitt wins an Irish pub in a raffle and must save the village from a greedy English landlord who wants to demolish it and build a theme park. As Jimmy charms the villagers with his fresh ideas, he becomes embroiled in their battle against Hailstock's plans, all while trying to win over the heart of Maureen, a folk singer who is torn between her loyalty to her community and her growing feelings for him.
