"Swallowed" is a searingly intense horror film that masquerades as a dance piece, its choreographed sequences a stark contrast to the unsettling, unflinching portrayal of motherhood and domesticity. Behind the innocent facade of suburban bliss, the main character Sam harbors a dark secret that threatens to consume her - a physical manifestation that she can no longer conceal. This visceral, psychologically charged film is a thought-provoking exploration of the fragility of identity and the horrors of unspoken desire.
