In this offbeat 1987 sci-fi comedy, a tough-as-nails CIA agent and an insecure insurance agent are paired together to save humanity from extinction - a classic setup, but it's the unlikely friendship and transformation of these two mismatched heroes that makes for hilarious entertainment. Jim Belushi stars as Nick Pirandello, a suave womanizer who must boost John Ritter's confidence, while navigating corrupt CIA agents, alien encounters, and his own weakening willpower. With a healthy dose of stupid humor and ridiculous situations, this film is a can't-lose proposition that will leave you laughing at its absurdity.
