Gunman's Walk is a 1958 American CinemaScope Western film directed by Phil Karlson and starring Van Heflin as Lee Hackett, the rancher father who tries to mold his sons in his own image after his eldest son Ed (Tab Hunter) becomes a murderer. The film explores themes of parenting, prejudice, and ignorance during a tumultuous time, with James Darren playing Davy Hackett, Ed's hot-tempered but genuinely interested brother who falls for the beautiful half-French, half-Sioux woman Clee (Kathryn Grant).
