This Much I Know to Be True

In a rare glimpse into the creative process of two musical minds, Nick Cave and Warren Ellis come together in "This Much I Know to Be True", a concert film that breaks the silence of 2021's pandemic isolation. Filmed in spring 2021, before their UK tour, this companion piece to Andrew Dominik's documentary "One More Time with Feeling" captures the first performances of songs from Cave and Ellis's last two studio albums, Ghosteen and Carnage, alongside interlude segments exploring the music's creation and themes. The film also features an appearance by Marianne Faithfull, as well as a visit to the workshop of sculptor Corin Johnson, who assisted with Cave's recent project, "The Devil – A Life".
