Amar, the commander of a black ops squad, is tasked by Police Commissioner Jose to investigate a group of masked vigilantes who executed Stephen Raj, ACP Prabhanjan, and Prabhanjan's foster father, Karnan. Puzzled by the inclusion of Karnan—seemingly an ordinary civilian alongside two high-ranking narcotics officers—Amar digs deep into his background, uncovering a carefully constructed cover story: Karnan feigned severe alcoholism and vice to mask a covert operation, all while fiercely protecting his foster grandson. Amar also learns that Sandhanam, the kingpin of a massive syndicate called Vettai Vagaiyara, is desperately searching for two missing drug containers, leading him to orchestrate a bomb blast that decimates Sandhanam's mansion and drug laboratory. Vikram breaks Bejoy and his allies out of custody, revealing that his campaign is not merely personal vengeance but an all-out war to eradicate the city's drug ecosystem, culminating in a brutal confrontation at the Chennai Port where he restrains Sandhanam and tricks him into broadcasting a "Code Red" distress signal over a walkie-talkie, ultimately leading to the downfall of Sandhanam and his syndicate.
