A harrowing tale of love, loss, and survival unfolds in the depths of Canada's wilderness, where a couple on a romantic camping trip finds themselves hopelessly lost within an aggressive black bear's territory. Based on a true story, "Backcountry" is a tense, well-acted thriller that marks a memorably assured debut from writer-director Adam MacDonald, delivering a visceral and impactful experience that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
