Pipa

In "Pipa", Luisana Lopilato stars as the titular character, an ex-cop drawn back into her dark past when a corpse appears on her property in a remote town. The film's focus on violence against women adds depth to an otherwise meandering narrative. With solid production values and decent acting, but ultimately one-dimensional storytelling, "Pipa" is a plodding thriller that fails to engage.
