Shriek of the Mutilated

An anthropology professor takes four graduate students on an expedition to a remote island in upstate New York to investigate sightings of a Yeti-like creature, but soon they find themselves trapped and stalked by a monstrous, hairy creature. The group's attempts to escape are thwarted by the professor's sinister motives and the true nature of the island, which harbors a dark secret: it's home to a cannibalistic cult hiding in plain sight. As the students try to survive against all odds, they're forced to confront the horrors that lurk in the woods and the darker aspects of human nature.
