Sardar Udham

Vicky Kaushal stars as Udham Singh, a young man left deeply scarred by the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, who escapes into the mountains of Afghanistan, reaching London in 1933-34 and carrying an unhealed wound for 21 years before assassinating Michael O'Dwyer on March 13, 1940. The film depicts Udham's formative years as a member of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA), his journey to England, and his eventual execution for avenging the lives lost during the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Alongside Udham, Shaun Scott plays Michael O'Dwyer, while Stephen Hogan portrays Detective Inspector John Swain.
