Good Fences

In the 1970s, a determined attorney, Tom Spader, takes on the challenge of ending what he dubs "the colored man's losing streak" by winning a high-profile case, thrusting him into the spotlight. However, this newfound success sparks a desire for a better life, leading his family to make a drastic move from their mixed lower-middle-class town to the posh enclave of Greenwich, Connecticut. As they navigate their new surroundings, a complex web of racial prejudice and stress unfolds, forcing Tom's wife Mabel to be her steadfast self amidst the chaos.
