A man awakens two months into a deadly pandemic originating from the DMZ that has already devastated US and North Korea. He finds a mysterious device in his head, and a lethal bomb in his mouth. With no recollections of his past, Carter Lee (Joo Won) escapes his captors with the help of Han Jung-hee's voice in his ear, who works for North Korea's Labor Party, and embarks on a mission to rescue Dr. Jung Byung-ho's infected daughter Ha-na, while CIA agents pursue him.
