In this Malaysian-Singaporean romantic comedy film, two rival bak kwa shops, founded by former lovers Zeng Mei Mei and Chen Hao, set off a battle to win a competition, amidst their children's complex relationships with one another. The movie is based on an urban legend of the two shops, "Hao Han Bak Kwa" and "Mei Mei Bak Kwa", which were actually owned by the former lovers.
