I Love Maria

In this action-packed comedy-sci-fi film, a gang of criminals terrorizes Hong Kong with two killer robots, one modeled on their female thug, Maria. When the robot gets damaged during a mission, an inventor captures and reprograms her to develop an independent personality. As Maria's hatred towards her robotic doppelganger grows, she becomes embroiled in a battle for control of the city alongside a reporter, his quirky sidekick, and Master, an elder member of the gang who discovers he himself has been made into a robot by their leader.
