In a remote California gulch, an unsettling phenomenon unfolds, leaving residents to grapple with an inexplicable presence that invades their lives and threatens their very existence. Horse-wrangling siblings Otis Jr. (Daniel Kaluuya) and Emerald (Keke Palmer) must confront the dark forces head-on when strange events start occurring on their family ranch, including horses behaving erratically and vanishing into thin air. As they delve deeper into the mystery, they team up with electronics store employee Angel Torres to document evidence of an unidentified flying object that has been abducting their animals - a creature so terrifying that it only attacks those who dare to look directly at it.
