Willy Vanderbrook (François-Xavier Demaison), a Belgian citizen nicknamed "Cassoulet," travels to Paris for an interview and is welcomed by his childhood friend Serge (Charlie Dupont) and roommate Frank (Jean-Luc Couchard). After being rejected from working as the concierge at a luxurious hotel due to his Belgian citizenship, Willy decides to take revenge. He pretends to be a prince Belgian and sows chaos at the hotel, then meets Jessica/Cécile Morin (Anne Marivin), an arnaqueuse who mistakenly thinks he's a royal heir. With the help of Serge and Frank, Willy learns about Belgian culture and helps Jessica become more convincing in her royal impersonation.
