Frownland

Frownland is a 2007 American independent film that follows Keith (Dore Mann), a socially challenged young man struggling to get through life as a door-to-door salesman selling dubious coupon booklets. His dysfunctional relationships and living situation further exacerbate his neuroses, leading to a downward spiral of self-obliteration. The film stars Dore Mann as Keith, alongside Mary Wall, Paul Grimstad, David Sandholm, Carmine Marino, and Nicholas Sinhart in supporting roles. With its raw energy and unflinching portrayal of Keith's inner turmoil, Frownland won the Special Jury Prize at SXSW Festival and Best Film Not Playing at a Theater Near You at the Gotham Awards.
