Cinema, Aspirins and Vultures

In 1942 Northeastern Brazil, two men from vastly different worlds cross paths in a chance encounter that will become their unlikely journey to Rio de Janeiro. Johan, an aspirin salesman dodging the German draft, teams up with Ranulpho, a rural Brazilian fleeing drought, as they navigate their way through the parched wilderness of Brazil. As they face numerous misadventures and unexpected twists along the way, Johann must confront his decision to flee or fight for his country, setting in motion a delicate balance between survival and loyalty that will ultimately define their relationship.
