Beauty and the Bandit

In 1946's "Beauty and the Bandit," Gilbert Roland stars as The Cisco Kid, a bandito who ambushes a stagecoach carrying a young Frenchman named Jeanne Du Bois (Ramsay Ames). After learning that Du Bois is actually a beautiful young woman, the two are drawn to each other despite their initial animosity. The Cisco Kid offers to return the stolen money to Du Bois instead of its intended recipients, leading her to decide whether to complete her business deal or comply with his wishes.
