The Osterman Weekend

John Tanner (Rutger Hauer) is convinced by the CIA that his friends, including Lawrence Fassett (John Hurt), Bernard Osterman (Craig T. Nelson), Richard Tremayne (Dennis Hopper), and Joseph Cardone (Chris Sarandon), are engaged in a conspiracy that threatens national security. The host of an investigative news show, Tanner invites his friends to a weekend in the country, unaware that he is being set up by Fassett, who is on a mission to uncover "Omega," a Soviet spy network.
