"Fighting Elegy" is a gripping coming-of-age drama that explores the tumultuous world of 1930s Japanese youth culture through the eyes of Kiroku Nanbu, a troubled teenager torn between his repressed desires and his need for violence. Based on the novel by Takashi Suzuki, this bold film follows Nanbu's journey from Catholic schoolboy to radical activist, delving into themes of masculinity, sexual repression, and the roots of violence that would haunt him forever.
