Confess, Fletch

Jon Hamm plays Irwin 'Fletch' Fletcher, who becomes the prime suspect in a murder case while searching for a stolen art collection, and must find out which of the long list of suspects is the culprit. He meets Angela, the attractive daughter of his client, and develops a love affair with her, but their romance is complicated by Fletch's investigation into the theft of valuable paintings. The Countess, Angela's stepmother, invites herself to stay with Fletch, adding another suspect to his list, while Inspector Monroe and Junior Detective Griz begin tailing him, thwarting his attempts to continue his investigation without interference.
