Drifting Home

A 2022 Japanese animated coming-of-age fantasy adventure comedy-drama film directed by Hiroyasu Ishida from a screenplay he co-wrote with Hayashi Mori and Minaka Sakamoto. Produced by Studio Colorido, it tells the story of Kosuke and Natsume, two 11-year-old friends who are set adrift on an abandoned apartment building after a summer vacation gone wrong. As they try to survive and find their way back home, they encounter a mysterious boy named Noppo and must navigate their own relationships with each other.
