Aloft

Aloft is a drama film about a mother and son, Nana Kunning (Jennifer Connelly) and Ivan, who have been estranged since an accident that changed their lives forever. The story unfolds when a young journalist, Jania Ressmore (Mélanie Laurent), brings Ivan together with his mother in a bid to heal her illness. As they travel through the Canadian wilderness, Ivan confronts his painful past and learns to let go of his anger and resentment towards his mother's decision to abandon him.
