Pray the Devil Back to Hell

The film "Pray the Devil Back to Hell" chronicles the remarkable story of Liberian women who came together to end a bloody civil war and bring peace to their shattered country. Led by Leymah Gbowee, a group of ordinary women demanded a resolution to the country's civil war through prayer, nonviolent protests, and determination. With the support of Asatu Bah Kenneth, among others, they forced a meeting with President Charles Taylor and extracted a promise from him to attend peace talks, ultimately leading to the election of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf as Liberia's first female head of state.
