In 1980s India, three friends of different faiths unite in a noble yet dangerous effort to save hundreds in their town amidst tension and the backdrop of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Diljit Dosanjh plays Joginder Singh "Jogi", whose traditional working-class Sikh family is caught in the violence, while Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub's character, Rawinder Chautala, a Hindu friend and police officer, helps Jogi on his mission to save his community.
