Anikulapo

In the epic fantasy film "Anikulapo," a young weaver named Saro, driven by his illicit romance with Queen Arolake, is sentenced to death and resurrected through a mystical bird's power, earning him the name Anikulapo, or "one who holds death in his purse." As he becomes popular in their new village Ojumo, Saro sets amorous eyes on other women and betrays Arolake, ultimately discovering that his excessive pride is his downfall.
