Miss Futuro

In "Miss Futuro," a young nun named Sister Ada's life is upended when she's caught sneaking to read about movie stars in the convent, setting her on a path of self-discovery and redemption. As she embarks on one final evangelizing mission in El Retiro, a vibrant gay cruising area, she must confront her own desires and sense of purpose. In search of renewal, Ada flees to New York City, where she hopes to rediscover her faith and forge a new path. Along the way, she finds herself caught between her spiritual calling and her growing connection to the city's diverse and unpredictable world.
