Red Psalm

Set in 1890s Hungary, Red Psalm follows a group of farm workers who go on strike, facing harsh reprisals and ultimately confronting the reality of revolt, oppression, morality, and violence. Characterized by long, choreographed takes and an abundance of music, featuring Hungarian folk tunes alongside Russian and English songs, the film draws inspiration from 19th-century Hungarian revolutionary movements.
