In the near future New York City, Z, the evil chairman of Inteltrax Corporation, unleashes an army of cyborgs designed for hazardous tasks, now altered to kill humans for pleasure. His inventor, Dr. Paul Haynes, is held captive, and his sister Darla seeks the aid of Matt Riker, an expert in high-tech weaponry and martial arts. As a bounty hunter, Matt chases mutant cyborgs to prevent them from killing humans, leading to a thrilling adventure that showcases some solid practical makeup effects. Despite its promising premise, Mutant Hunt is marred by a limited budget, questionable acting, and subpar storytelling, leaving it a mixed bag for fans of sci-fi action.
