Bizan

Sakiko returns to her hometown on Shikoku's Tokushima Island after her mother's hospitalization for terminal cancer. The town is famous for its Awa Dance Festival, where Sakiko (Nanako Matsushima) reunites with her strained relationship with her mother (Nobuko Miyamoto). As she tries to care for her ailing mother, Sakiko discovers a box of letters from her past filled with love and warmth, changing her perception of her mother. The film showcases the complex bond between Sakiko and her mother as they face their mortality together.
