Nightwatch

A law student named Martin Bells (Ewan McGregor) is hired as a night watchman at a hospital morgue, where he discovers clues pointing to him as the suspect in a series of gruesome prostitute murders committed by a necrophiliac serial killer. Investigator Inspector Thomas Cray (Nick Nolte) is tasked with solving the case, while Martin slowly uncovers evidence that points to the real perpetrator.
