Blaze

A 12-year-old girl witnesses a violent crime that leaves its victim dead, and to cope with her trauma, she summons an imaginary dragon to protect herself on her journey into womanhood. After being questioned by police and having her testimony discounted, Blaze becomes obsessed with the victim's life story, discovering websites dedicated to female attack victims and adorning her wall with pictures of Hannah. As she navigates a complex web of emotions and medication, Blaze struggles to maintain control over her newfound sense of self, ultimately deciding to testify against the rapist in a trial that will test her courage and conviction.
