A businessman's professional struggles begin to conflict with his personal life over the course of two days, as Harry Stoner, a WW2 veteran and high-styled executive in the garment industry, grapples with the complexities of modern life versus the simplicity of his youth. As he navigates the pressures of running a struggling Los Angeles apparel company and managing his failing marriage, Stoner is confronted with the harsh realities of his own mortality, forcing him to confront the choices between his business dealings and his personal values.
